Both Yasmin Foley and Jerry Honson are in the ring as Yasmin welcomes the fans to the second NHW event, Honson explains that tonight will feature three debuts and they could potentially be Contenders for the NHW World Championship next month. Yasmin then announces that the first ever NHW Tag Team Champions will be crowned in April as she feels that NHW will need to declare and observe the best Teams possible for the Championship bout. Jerry Honson reminds us that next month is the NHW World Championship match while Yasmin Foley makes her way to the Locker-Room, the crowd is going nuts as Honson says the show begins now!
Match 1: Overboard Vs Tony Fire (Al Orb And Ed Fire Banned From Ringside)
First to make their way to the ring area is Overboard wearing a Canadian flag on his t-shirt which gets him some heat, he gets in the ring and poses in his t-shirt. Tony Fire makes his way to the ring next to a big reaction, he claps the fans’ hands before eventually getting into the ring. Nobody is with them either of them tonight.
Overboard grabs Tony’s head and pulls him in for a headlock, Tony then runs him off the ropes but Overboard ducks a Clothesline running off the other ropes and landing a Crossbody which gets a 2 count. They both quickly get back up but Overboard knees Tony in the back, he grabs his back then lifts him up and slams his back on his knee for a Backbreaker, he only gets a 2 count but Overboard then starts hitting him in the face in frustration. Tony Fire gets picked up and hit in the back once again with a knee, Overboard then throws Tony into the turnbuckle with his back exposed, he then delivers punches to his back while the crowd begin to boo him. A couple elbows to the head of Overboard cause him to stop hitting Tony and stumble to the centre, Tony holds his back while quickly climbing the top turnbuckle, he dives off into the air and lands a Moonsault with him hooking the leg but only getting a 2 count. Tony Fire gets up holding his back but Overboard quickly jumps up and elbows Tony in the back sending him back down to the canvas, Overboard continues to target Tony’s back while the crowd tries to get behind him.
Overboard picks him up and uses his knees once again on Tony’s back, Tony suddenly catches a knee from Overboard and jumps in air, booting Overboard on the side of head with an Enziguri, Overboard falls to one knee while Tony pulls himself up then runs at him, Overboard pushes Tony away but he rolls through and runs at him again, this time he manages to leap into the air and Forearm Smash Overboard down to the canvas. Tony Fire gets himself back up via the ropes help and begins to pick up Overboard, he forearms him off the chest then Arm Drags him down, Overboard then rolls to his feet until Tony then kicks Overboard into the chest, Tony pulls him to the middle of the ring then runs to the ropes and jumps up on them springboarding himself to Overboard booting him in the chest and connects a Springboard Dropkick, he only gets a 2 count. Tony then gets back up and gets the crowd behind him, he begins to pick him up but Overboard then with quickness lifts him in the air but Tony then lands behind him and locks his head, going for Eye Of The Fire but Overboard then reverses by turning around, lifting him in the air and slamming his back on his knee for another Backbreaker, he hooks the leg and it gets a 2 count.
Tony Fire gets to one knee while Overboard tries to punch him down, Tony then forearms him in the chest once again. They both eventually get up until Tony Fire quickly runs off the ropes but Overboard lifts his foot in the air and Super Kicks him in the face, Overboard then sweeps Tony off his feet and locks in the Sharpshooter. Tony Fire tries to crawl to the ropes but his back is in too much pain, Tony then manages to crawl to the bottom rope but Overboard drags him back into the middle of the ring still in the Sharpshooter, Tony Fire cannot stand the pressure and eventually taps out… Winner via Sharpshooter: Overboard
We see Corvo sitting in a dark room with only a table lamp shining on his face; he has his head in his hands until he then looks up and stares at the camera:
"Y'know, since I made my return to NHW, I've realized there are a lot of things about this company I hate..."
Corvo's facial expression turns to disgust, still looking deep into the camera.
"I could give you a detailed list of my current annoyances and peeves but instead it can all be summed up with one name... David Zutos..."
Corvo then quickly lashes out as he slams his fists against the table and looks deeply into the camera.
"Seriously kid? You think this little pathetic diehard; 'I work my ass off' attitude will make you the best...? Well you're wrong!"
Corvo suddenly stands up and disappears, silently into the darkness which is the rest of the room. After a few seconds, Corvo re-emerges from the dark and grabs the camera; he pulls it towards himself as he sits back down at the table.
"You see David... The world is full of scumbags, liars, thieves and two faced b******s. Well guess what, I'm one of those guys. I'm a guy that does nothing but laze around, smoke and skive my way through life... I'm one of those guys that waits, then when I see my opportunity, I damn well take it."
Corvo then places his head in his hands once again, draws a deep breath and sighs. Corvo looks at the camera and begins to laughs.
"You see David, I will beat you... And I will do it easily. Yeah, you may think the crowd will be on your side, but once you're in that squared circle… They don't mean s***. You're nothing but a little piece of dirt that's too focused on pleasing the scum in the bleachers to actually realize that I'll be calculating everything you're doing. Then when you least expect it...... BAM!"
Corvo shouts as he slams his hand against the table once again.
"It'll all over be quick... One Hook And Ladder, I walk away with the three count while you remain face down on the canvas, staring at your so-called 'supporters' whilst they can do nothing to help.”
Corvo then begins to laugh and stare at the camera, he turns off the lamp and disappears into the darkness.
Match 2: Tyson Roders Vs Brian Michaels
Brian Michaels is making his way to the ring, the crowd seems very positive towards Brian as he claps the hands of the front row. Tyson Roders makes his way to the ring while once again arguing with the fans at ringside.
To start the match off, Tyson Roders offers a lockup which Brian accepts but Tyson with a cheap way out kicks Brian in the abdomen. Tyson then begins to punch him in the head, Brian catches a punch and throws him off but Tyson then runs off the ropes and lands a Crossbody onto him, Tyson then again lands more punches onto Brian’s head. Tyson eventually stops and begins to pose to the crowd in which they begin to show their disrespect towards him, Tyson then picks up Brian but starts to get some offensive in when Brian lands a forearm on Tyson and Enziguri’s him, Tyson falls to the canvas then Brian hooks Tyson’s arms and locks on a Camel Clutch. The crowd immediately begins to chant: “Tap!” Brian attempts to put more pressure onto it but Tyson begins to bite at his fingers causing the Camel Clutch to be broken. Brian walks into the corner while Tyson gets himself up, he quickly runs at Brian then leaps into the air and boots Brian into the face connecting a Corner Dropkick, Brian falls to the canvas as Tyson hooks the leg but gets a 2 count.
Tyson sits Brian up and wrenches on his head and neck with a chinlock, Brian tries to squirm out of it but it’s locked in tight, the crowd then begins to pump Brian up with cheers as Brian then begins to try and get out of the chinlock. Tyson tells the crowd to shut up while Brian gets to one knee, he elbows Tyson in the abdomen but he wrenches the chinlock more, Brian gets back to one knee and elbows Tyson again, he tries to apply more pressure but Brian quickly gets back up and spins around to Tyson’s waist, he throws him in the air overhead and hits a Northern Lights Suplex but it gets a 2. They both quickly roll back up to their feet until they run at each other, Brian ducks a Clothesline attempt and they run back, Tyson catches Brian throwing him in the air while he grabs Tyson’s arm and throws him down with an Arm Drag, they quickly get back up again until Brian lands an Dropkick on him. The crowd gets behind Brian Michaels until Tyson knees him in the abdomen, he throws him into the corner while running at him, Brian then gets Clotheslined in the corner but while Tyson runs to the other turnbuckle for another move, Brian quickly follows pursuit and Yakuza Kicks Tyson right in the face, he pulls him out of the corner and grabs his head and hooks his leg going for a Perfect-Plex but Tyson drops down and rolls him over with a Small Package but it gets a 2 count!
The crowd continue to cheer on Brian Michaels as they both get up with help from the ropes, Brian runs at Tyson but gets caught and thrown into the air then slammed onto his knee for the Tilt-a-whirl Backbreaker, he then throws Brian back up onto his feet off his knee while lifting his leg in the air and Roundhouse Kicks Brian right on the back of neck, he turns him around hooking his head and Jawbreakers him with his shoulder, he tries for Surgical Repair but Brian begins to knee him in the abdomen, Tyson eventually breaks free and Brian forearms him in the jaw, he leaps into the air and wraps his legs around Tyson’s head and throws him down connecting a Headscissors Takedown. Brian then picks Tyson up and forearms him in the jaw again, he runs off the ropes but Tyson then boots Brian on the neck again with another Roundhouse Kick, he Jawbreakers him off his shoulder, grabs his head and whiplashes him down for the Surgical Repair and it gets the 3 count… Winner via Surgical Repair: Tyson Roders
Match 3: Matt Greer Vs Hawk Knight
Hawk Knight makes his way to the ring in a mixed reaction, he gets onto the ring apron then climbs up the turnbuckle, he tries to get the crowd pumping eventually getting into the ring, out comes Matt Greer once again wearing one of his own t-shirts, the crowd give him some heat while he makes his way to the ring, he takes off his t-shirt begins to tell fans they should give him a bid for it. A fan in the audience waves money in his face in which Greer takes the money and gives him the shirt.
They’re finally in the ring and they both walk up to each other, Greer slaps him in the face, Hawk laughs it off and quickly goes behind Greer grabbing his legs and slamming him face-first onto the canvas, Hawk then ties Greer’s legs up with his own and taunts to the crowd while they cheer him on, Greer tries to get out of the hold but Hawk then kicks him in the ribs, he then wraps his arms around Greer on a full nelson and has Greer locked in already with his Hawk Star. The crowd is beginning to chant loudly: “Tap!” Matt Greer tries to crawl on his knees to the ropes but Hawk tries to apply more pressure, Greer eventually reaches the ropes and the hold is broken, the crowd is booing Greer completely. Hawk grabs Greer’s head and punches him round the face as he gets up, Hawk lifts him up but Greer throws Hawk’s arm to the side as Greer starts punching him in the jaw, he runs off the ropes then leaps into the air and connects a Dropkick to the head, he goes for a cover but it only gets a 2 count.
Matt Greer then picks him up and throws him in the corner, he runs at him but Hawk lifts his boot to his face, Greer stumbles to the centre while Hawk climbs the turnbuckle, he leaps off as Greer turns back around and gets hit with a Crossbody, it only gets a 2. Hawk then springs back to his feet as the crowd cheer him on, he picks Greer up and starts punching him, he lifts Greer up and slams him on his knee for a Backbreaker, he is still holding on so he lifts him again and does a second Backbreaker, Hawk hooks the leg and gets a 2 count. They both then get up but Greer then grabs Hawk’s head and slams him off his knee, he lifts his foot and boots Hawk in the chest, Hawk then runs back and off the ropes, back to Greer but Greer quickly goes behind him and goes for a Roll-up but only gets a 2. They both get up again but Hawk then hooks his arm and rolls him over for a Small Package but gets a 2. Hawk quickly picks Greer up but he throws Hawk’s arm to the side and lifts Hawk up in the air in a Tombstone Piledriver position, Greer then throws himself back and lifts his knees and Hawk’s jaw goes right onto Greer’s knees, they both quickly get back up with Hawk holding his jaw, Greer then runs at him and jumps in air while clutching his knees to Hawk’s jaw and slams him down for the Full Gear, he then hooks the leg and it gets the 3 count… Winner via Full Gear: Matt Greer
Match 4: Corvo Vs David Zutos
Corvo makes his way to the ring to big heat, he gets in the ring and takes off his skull designed bandana while staring at the entrance ramp awaiting his opponent, out comes David Zutos who points at him then lowers his thumb. David Zutos runs down and slides into the ring, he gets back up and raises his fist to the crowd who cheer him on.
They quickly get in each other’s faces and begin to punch their faces, Corvo then delivers a knee to Zutos’ abdomen and runs off the ropes with a knee to the face then grabs his head and slams him down with a Neckbreaker, he hooks Zutos’ leg but only gets a 2 count. Corvo then quickly picks him up and slaps him in the face, Zutos stumbles into the corner and Corvo slaps him again, he throws Zutos but reverses with a whip himself and Corvo goes into the corner himself, Zutos runs at him but gets a boot to the face and stumbles into another corner, Corvo then runs at him and lands a knee to the face, Zutos then holds his head in the centre of the ring while falling to one knee, Corvo runs off the ropes and hits Zutos with an Enziguri, it only gets a 2 count. Corvo then shouts at the crowd while they give him heat, he grabs Zutos’ head but he goes around Corvo and goes for a Roll-up, it gets a 2 count. They quickly get back up and Zutos hits an Arm Drag on him, Corvo rolls through but gets hit with a Body Slam, Zutos gets the crowd behind him as Corvo gets back up, Zutos begins to punch Corvo as they get to the ropes, he throws Corvo off the ropes and throws him over head with a Back Body Drop.
Corvo holds his back as he gets back up, Zutos then kicks him in the abdomen, he grabs his waist and lifts him up on his shoulders and slams him down with a Powerbomb, it only gets a 2 count! The crowd cheers on David Zutos while he asks the Referee if it was a 3 count, he pulls Corvo back up but gets a poke to the eye, Corvo then kicks him in the back and elbows him on the back of the neck. Corvo lifts Zutos up and slams him on his knee for a Backbreaker, it only gets a 2 count. The crowd begins to heavily boo Corvo while he taunts to the ringside crowd, Zutos tries to get up but Corvo kicks him in the face, he then picks him up and slaps him across the face. The slap then wakes David Zutos up and tackles Corvo down and starts punching him in the face, he then quickly picks him back up and runs off the ropes with a Crossbody, he gets off him and picks him back up, Zutos then picks Corvo up and drops his face onto the turnbuckle for a Snake Eyes, he then runs off the ropes while Corvo stumbles to the centre, Zutos then delivers a Dropkick to his face sending him down, it only gets a 2 count. David Zutos quickly picks Corvo back up and gets on the middle turnbuckle, he leaps off and hits a Diving Back Elbow, he hooks the leg and again gets a 2 count.
David Zutos gets back up and picks Corvo back up, he grabs his waist again and lifts him up for another Powerbomb, Corvo then lands on his feet behind Zutos and hooks his arms, he lifts him up for a Hook And Ladder but Zutos breaks the hooked arms and rolls Corvo over for a Victory Roll, it gets a 2 count! They both quickly get back up but Corvo lands a forearm to his jaw, he grabs Zutos’ head and lifts him up for a Suplex but Zutos goes over Corvo’s head and gets behind him, he grabs his head and goes for a Sleeper Hold. Corvo tries to grab the ropes while the crowd begins to chant David Zutos’ name, Corvo then runs to the turnbuckle and ducks into the middle as Zutos’ head hits the top buckle, the Sleeper Hold is broken as Zutos holds his head, Corvo then runs at him and goes around him and hooks his arms from behind, he elevates him on his knees ready for his D.L.S but Zutos turns in mid-air and goes behind Corvo, he hooks his arms then throws him overhead and drives his head and neck down with his Zutosphere, it gets the 3 count… Winner via Zutosphere: David Zutos
Yasmin Foley is seen standing up in front of her desk with her black folder in hand looking into it, Jerry Honson walks in and demands to know what Yasmin has planned for next month’s NHW World Championship. She tells him that she has everything under control and that it will definitely not disappoint the fans, Honson tells her that he hopes she doesn’t screw anything up or he will have no choice but to terminate her position as the NHW Booker. Yasmin explains to him that the plan has been thought out in the black folder she keeps everyday and that it has never failed on her once, she tells him that the reason NHW didn’t last in 2009 was because she didn’t have her black folder at the time. Jerry Honson warns her that she may not last with NHW in 2011, he wishes her good luck and says she may need it. Jerry Honson exits the area while Yasmin Foley looks in the black folder, she then slowly lifts her head to the TV monitor with a sadistic smirk on her face.
Match 5: Kevin Empire Vs Scott Rendix
Scott Rendix makes his way to the ring to a few cheers from the crowd while he taunts to the crowd before eventually getting into the ring, Kevin Empire then enters to the ring area while threatening to hit the crowd. Empire stops to watch a fan bad mouth him, he laughs it off while the fan still bad mouths him in the distance as Empire gets in the ring, he looks to the fan and points into the distance while shouting: “Shout louder, the back row can’t hear you!”
The bell sounds and Rendix offers a lockup, Empire goes to grab his hand but instead kicks him in the abdomen, Empire then runs off the ropes but Rendix throws him overhead for a Powerslam. Rendix quickly picks him up but Empire connects a Jawbreaker, Empire lifts Rendix in the air and drops him down for a Body Slam, it gets a 1 count only. Rendix quickly rolls to his feet then runs at Empire, he jumps in the air and Dropkicks Empire in the jaw and they both go down. Rendix grabs Empire’s head and punches him but Empire catches a punch and slaps him across the face, Rendix then runs at him but gets thrown over head for a Back Body Drop, Empire then grabs his head and starts punching at Rendix. He quickly lifts him up and knees his abdomen, Empire runs off the ropes and lands a knee right to his face causing Rendix to drop to the canvas, Empire goes for a cover but gets a 2 count. Empire gets back up and kicks him in the jaw, he taunts to the crowd while they give him heat. Rendix tries to get back up but Empire shouts in his face while slapping him, Rendix then quickly kicks Empire in the abdomen then drives his head to the canvas with a DDT.
Scott Rendix then gets up while checking his mouth for blood, he picks up Empire but tries for another Jawbreaker, but Rendix throws Empire into the ropes and hits a Clothesline on Empire. Empire quickly gets back up but Rendix sends him back down with a Body Slam, he picks Empire back up but he pushes him away, Empire runs off the ropes but Rendix catches him and hits an Inverted Atomic Drop, Empire stumbles to the centre and Rendix turns him around, lifts him the air and connects a Back Drop, it gets a 2 count. Scott Rendix springs back up and tries to get the crowd behind him, he picks Empire up and punches him in the back, he then lifts him in the air and slams him on knee for a Backbreaker, Rendix then quickly picks him up and throws him off the ropes and tries for his Novocaine but Empire then rakes him in the eyes, Rendix drops him to his feet until Empire then grabs him around the neck and throws him overhead for a Ferris Wheel, Empire quickly rolls to the apron and gets back up while taunting to the crowd. Kevin Empire climbs to the top rope while Scott Rendix tries to get to both feet, Rendix eventually gets back up as Empire leaps off the turnbuckle but Rendix gets out of the way and Kevin Empire misses his Purple Reign, landing right on his back to the canvas.
The crowd begins to get behind Scott Rendix as he gets up, he grabs Empire’s head and begins to forearm him the jaw. He picks him up but Empire pushes him to the side and runs off the ropes with a Clothesline to the face of Rendix sending him down, he quickly picks him up and throws him off the ropes then throws him in the air and boots him in the face for the Alarm Clock, he quickly runs off the ropes again with a leap into the air and connecting the Sick Kick, he hooks the leg and it gets the 3 count… Winner via Sick Kick: Kevin Empire
Match 6: The Dragon’s Nest (Dino Nuo And Dan McMinalen) Vs Hocktus (Handicap Match)
Hocktus storms out and rushes to the ring, he slides in the ring and stares down at the entrance way. The crowd begins to heavily boo the duo that enters next, The Dragon’s Nest. They both walk to the ring while Nuo arrogantly smirks at Hocktus, they get into the ring as Hocktus charges at them but they get off the apron. Dino Nuo grabs a microphone and begins to tell the crowd that the man in the ring is a maniac, he goes on to say how he will become the NHW World Champion in three weeks time while Hocktus will be watching from a hospital bed… Hocktus quickly slides out of the ring as Dan McMinalen tries to stop him but he gets thrown into the crowd barricade, Hocktus runs to Nuo and Clotheslines him to the floor. He picks Nuo up and throws him in the ring with himself and starts to punch him in the head to start this match.
Hocktus picks Nuo back up and punches him in the jaw, causing him to fall into the turnbuckle, Hocktus climbs over Nuo and starts punching him in the face, Dan McMinalen quickly gets in the ring but Hocktus jumps off the turnbuckle and hits a Double Axe Handle on him sending McMinalen down. Nuo runs at Hocktus and tackles him down, landing face-first to the canvas. Nuo begins to elbow him in the neck while McMinalen gets back up. Nuo then tells McMinalen to pick him up, he does and hooks his arms for Nuo while Nuo begins to punch Hocktus in the face as the crowd gives heat to them both for this assault. Dino Nuo begins to taunt to the crowd as McMinalen delivers a Back Drop to Hocktus, he pins him but gets a 2 count. Nuo walks over and stomps Hocktus in the chest, McMinalen picks Hocktus up but he tries to get some momentum by elbowing McMinalen in the abdomen, Nuo then runs at him but ducks a Clothesline and throws McMinalen into him. Hocktus then runs off the ropes while they both get up and hits a Clothesline on both of them, Nuo rolls to the ropes as McMinalen gets up but gets hit with a Body Slam. Hocktus quickly picks McMinalen back up and continues to punch him in the face, Nuo gets back up but Hocktus turns around and hits a Big Boot to him sending him to the outside.
Hocktus picks McMinalen back up but gets his arms thrown to the side, McMinalen then grabs his head and drives him down with a DDT, he springs back up to his feet and picks Hocktus back up but throws him off the ropes and punches McMinalen in the jaw, he holds his jaw while stumbling into the centre as Hocktus runs off the ropes and hits him with a Big Boot sending him down, he hooks McMinalen’s leg and gets a 2 count. Dino Nuo quickly gets back up and trips Hocktus up and goes for a cheap Roll-up but gets a 2 count. They both get up again then Nuo throws him over head with a Hip Toss, he still has hold of him arm and stomps at Hocktus’ neck. Nuo helps McMinalen back up and they start to assault Hocktus once again, Nuo picks him up then throws him off the ropes and they both knee Hocktus in the abdomen, Nuo and McMinalen then run off the ropes to the opposite and Dropkick Hocktus in the face sending him straight down, Nuo hooks the leg but gets a 2 count. McMinalen climbs to the middle rope as Nuo pulls Hocktus to the centre, McMinalen jumps off and lands a Diving Splash on him, he hooks the leg and again gets a 2 count. Nuo then leans in the corner resting while McMinalen picks Hocktus up, Nuo tells him to finish the job as McMinalen lifts Hocktus up on his shoulder, he begins to run but Hocktus lands behind him on his feet, he grabs his waist and throws him over head with a German Suplex!
Dino Nuo then runs at him but gets thrown in the air and slammed on his back with a Tilt-a-whirl Backbreaker, Hocktus throws him off his knee and picks up McMinalen, he runs off the ropes and hits a Big Boot sending him back down, he grabs McMinalen’s jeans and throws him out of the ring. Dino Nuo sits up as Hocktus then points to him, Nuo tries to beg but Hocktus runs at him then Nuo quickly grabs Hocktus and rolls him over with a Small Package, it gets a 2 count. They both quickly get up then Hocktus kicks Nuo in the abdomen, he hooks his arms and lifts him in the air then slams him on his neck for a Tiger Bomb, it only gets a 2 count. Hocktus signals to the crowd that this is over, they cheer for him as Hocktus begins to pick Nuo up, but Nuo then pokes him in the eye. Hocktus walks into the centre holding his eye while Nuo quickly climbs to the top turnbuckle, he jumps off with a Crossbody but Hocktus moves out of the way and Nuo crashes to the canvas on his abdomen. Hocktus then hits an Elbow Drop on him and hooks the leg but McMinalen rolls back in and breaks it up at 2. McMinalen then picks Hocktus up but gets a kick to the abdomen, he grabs McMinalen’s head and lifts him in the air, he walks over to Nuo and Suplexes McMinalen right onto Dino Nuo!
Dan McMinalen holds his back as he rolls to the outside, Hocktus then throws his fist into the air at the cheering crowd. He begins to pick Dino Nuo up but suddenly, someone from the crowd jumps over the barricade and quickly rolls into the ring, Hocktus runs to the ropes aiming for Nuo but the "Mystery" man then kicks Hocktus in the abdomen, he grabs his waist and lifts him in the air while holding his arms out to the side, the "Mystery" man then slams Hocktus down onto the canvas with a Crucifix Powerbomb! He then drags Dino Nuo over Hocktus for a cover and it gets the 3 count… Winners via Crucifix Powerbomb: The Dragon’s Nest
After the match, Dan McMinalen rolls back in while this "Mystery" man helps Dino Nuo up. McMinalen and the "Mystery" man raise Nuo’s hand in victory, Nuo then wakes up and then begins to laugh wildly while raising their hands to the heavy booing crowd. All the three get out of the ring while laughing at Hocktus inside the ring getting checked on by the referee, the crowd begin to loudly bad mouth them.
The Event Ends With Hocktus Looking Angrily At The Dragon’s Nest And The Mystery Man Posing On At The Entrance Way
