Hi Reddiefreddy, sorry for the late reply...I've certainly been very busy in the outside world...looks like others have been as well!
To answer your question, Wrestling MPire (the originals) were written in BlitzBasic3D It will probably still be available somewhere on the internet...
If you are referring to Mat's latest release, Wrestling Empire...then that I believe he has done in Unity...I think there maybe a thread over on our Discord which might give you more insight...

I have all of the MDickie games, from the DOSBox Era, to Wrestling Empire's impactful return on the switch!
My MDickie Collection also includes some mods, a few mods being made by Mat Dickie himself, and also some of you here at the MPire Mall, and the Encore Mall!
I know quite a bunch about wrestling (although some moments i may have forgotten or simply do not know)
and it's a pleasure to be here and now, sharing this with everyone on the MPire Mall!
It is truly an honor to be here with such legendary modders and great people here, and I cannot wait to make many friends, here at the Incredibly Beloved MPire Mall.
